    Learning objectives
    After completing the course, the student is be able to:
    - Install Windows server operating system and define Server settings.
    - Create and define different features and roles of domain servers, such as active directory (AD) and group policies (GP).
    - Set basic network functions (DHCP, DNS and TCP/IP).
    - Know requirements and applicability of the server platform for different services and their definitions.
    - Implement the most typical server components and know the basics of the Windows server environment.
    Starting level and linkage with other courses
    Introduction to ICT Infrastructure and Cloud Services.

    Teaching methods and instruction

    This course is implemented as face-to-face teaching. There are about ten lessons held in Pasila (the exact dates will be presented in beginning of the course). There will be also a few virtual classes (via Zoom) additionally.

    These lessons are held in Pasila's classroom, where the students also have access to Haaga-Helia workstations.

    Attendance is compulsory for those "ten" classes. The classes consist of theory and practice sections.

    In the course, the final exam must be successfully completed.
