    The student who completes this course (or has acquired equivalent competence) is able to succeed in Haaga-Helia studies by:

    Further information
    To complete the course assignments, you must install Microsoft Office Word, Excel and PowerPoint desktop applications on your computer. Their browser based online versions are not sufficient.

    The course material is based on English versions of Microsoft Office Word, Excel ja PowerPoint applications that is provided on the Microsoft Support website.
    Course material is created for Windows operating system versions. Mac users are not fully supported. You are encouraged to actively search for instructions for your own computer type.

    When the implementation type of the course is contact, online or blended it is required that the student is present during those teaching hours that are marked in the study schedule. If you are absent more than 25 %, your grade will be lowered by one. If you are absent more than 50 %, the course is failed.

    Teaching methods and instruction

    This implementation is based on virtual learning. Course Moodle's General tab will contain link to a video recording which go-through should give each participant basic knowledge and information of how to conduct course. There will be a deadline for one or more mandatory learning assignments for most of the course weeks.

    Exam dates and re-exam possibilities

    Course will have two examinations - one mid-course and one at the end of the course. Exact dates and time frames, when exams are made available for taking, will be provided by the teacher and communicated at Moodle's implementation plan document (Moodle > General tab).

    Both exams are arranged in Moodle as virtual examinations.

    Re-examinations are offered according Haaga-Helia degree regulations also as virtual Moodle examinations. Exact dates and time frames are communicated during the course by email by the teacher.
