The course will start in Thursday 16.1.2024.
There will be two lessons in every course week; on Tuesdays and Thursdays.
This is contact course, but some lessons will be organized in Teams.

Guidelines for RPL (Recognition of Prior Learning) HRL012AS3AE
In case the student has min. two years professional background and work experience of HR technology, the assessment for this course can be completed by writing an essay and creating a video lecture on the topic: HR Technology in Practice.
This is agreed separately with the teacher.
Intro
Management with accurate data is vital to organizations and HR needs to have the ability, knowledge and tools to support it in various management decisions. The modern HR-work is using multiple tools - from separate data systems to generative AI.

Teaching methods and instruction
In this course, we will cover the definition of HR processes, the use of HR systems, and procurement in businesses. You will become familiar with various HR systems and their features in the context of personnel management within an organization. You will learn to utilize workforce analytics for management and development purposes, as well as identify the opportunities presented by new technologies in HR data management. Additionally, you will be introduced to the phases of an HR system acquisition project and become acquainted with SAP system for personnel data management within a company.
Exam dates and re-exam possibilities
The final exam will take place in classroom during the last week of the course.
Possibility for re-take the exam will be agreed with the teacher separately.
Internationality
The course language is English and the course material is mainly international.
Completion alternatives
In case the student has obtained experience of HRIS in practice and is familiar to SAP S/4HANA system, there is an option to RPL. More information from the teacher.
Learning assignments
The course will contain two major assignments:
1) HRIS:
Introduction of one selected HR-system from the market (groupwork)
2) SAP:
Case study in SAP S/4HANA -learning environment (Human Capital Management) and SAP exam (individual work)
