DEMONSTRATING PRIOR KNOWLEDGE OF THIS COURSE
The demonstration takes place in Moodle, through a specific implementation, for which you register in Peppi. (You can identify the correct implementation by its DEMO format.) Once registered in Peppi, the teacher will approve your enrollment, granting you access to the Moodle workspace for the implementation.
The demonstration tasks must be completed before the end of the implementation. You cannot participate in other implementations of the course at the same time.
Contents of the demonstration:
Moodle exam covering key entrepreneurship and business concepts and knowledge (20 time-restricted questions). Assessment is graded on a scale of 0–5, with the exam contributing 30% to the final demonstration grade.
Report/Presentation detailing and analyzing your own entrepreneurial skills and networks, along with a description and analysis of a selected company and its business operations. Assessment is graded on a scale of 0–5, with this task contributing 70% to the final demonstration grade.

Intro
In this course, you will explore entrepreneurship, its opportunities, and how to become an entrepreneur. You will reflect on your own potential for entrepreneurship. You will also study business, including its environment, strategy, and responsibility. You will learn to create a business model and use key business concepts with an existing company.

Teaching methods and instruction
This course is part of all Haaga-Helia degree programs, and students may participate in any of the listed delivery formats. This specific implementation is designed especially for students of the INTBBA degree program.
Lectures, class assignments, independent study,, group and assignments + presentations
Students participate in on-campus classroom teaching during the course.
Attendance and participation will be required for passing this course. The student is required to attend at least 75 percent of all lessons in contact, online, and blended formats, and actively participate. Absence exceeding 50 percent will result in disqualification.
Guidance is provided by the teacher during class sessions, through Moodle, in group meetings, and by email.

Assignments are linked to companies selected by students and reflect real-world business operations. May also include guest speakers from different companies.

Learning assignments
Two graded assignments: 1) Individual – Me and Entrepreneurship, 2) Group – Company and Business Operations. In-class tasks and additional group activities are also included. Class assignments (pass/fail): In addition there are group assignments mainly done during class hours.
Assessment methods
The graded assignments affecting the final grade carry a weight of 50% and are assessed numerically using evaluation rubrics. Other tasks are graded on a pass/fail basis, and all tasks must be completed successfully. Detailed instructions and rubrics are available in Moodle.
