The course is delivered entirely online without any in-person teaching or webinars. Studying requires an adequate background level and self-direction, as well as a willingness to collaborate for the Shark Tank video-recorded presentation done in pairs.

The course prepares for situations requiring English skills at work. The LinkedIn assignment helps to showcase qualifications and strengths and enhance profile visibility to attract potential employers. There is a video CV option for those who do not wish to use LinkedIn. The Shark Tank presentation offers an insight into how to compose and deliver a compelling sales pitch.
Pasila Campus
No exams, no re-exams. The course must be completed fully during the relevant period(s).
There are no retakes for the individual learning assignments. Should a student decide to drop out, their participation is marked with a zero grade.

The focus is on English as the language of international communication, business, trade and technological development.
The course curriculum has benefited from collaboration of multiple teachers with their different cultural contexts, work experience and academic backgrounds.
