    Upon completion of this course, you will be able to 1) analyse the operational environment, anticipate and utilise information and data for decision-making, 2) apply the principles of revenue management and business intelligence to tourism and travel business, 3) measure, monitor, assess, analyse and apply key performance indicators, and use revenue management tools
    Contents
    Analysis of the operational environment by using data for decision-making: analysis and forecast based on numbers and statistics. Definition, principles and benefits of revenue management and business intelligence. Application of revenue management tools and methods to travel and tourism business.
    Assessment criteria
    Assessment criteria - grade 1
    When the implementation type of the course is CONTACT, ONLINE or BLENDED it is required that the student is present during those teaching hours that are marked in the study schedule. If you are absent more than 25 %, your grade will be lowered by one. If you are absent more than 50 %, the course is failed.

    Is aware of the relevance of analysis of the operational environment and foresight in revenue management. Recognises some principles of revenue management and business intelligence. Is able to name some indicators and tools for revenue management in tourism and travel business.

    Assessment criteria - grade 5
    Is able to analyse the operational environment, have foresight and utilise information and data for business. Is able to apply the principles of revenue management and business intelligence. Is able to monitor, measure, assess, analyse and apply indicators and tools for revenue management in tourism and travel business.
