Intro
In this course, you will learn about Haaga-Helia's electronic systems, which will help you to cope with future courses. At the same time, you will practice online learning and independent work.

This is a contact-blended implementation. In class sessions from 22.8. to 13.9.2025 at Porvoo Campus, class 2623, from 11.00 to 13.45.

Learning assignments
Students who have completed this course or have acquired equivalent competence will be able to:
- use Haaga-Helia's Moodle and other e-learning environments
- use the Haaga-Helia Office 365 environment and its various services, including email, calendar and OneDrive
- use the Haaga-Helia network and remote access securely
- use Peppi, the student intranet
- use Haaga-Helia student pages
In addition, the student will identify the skills and mindset needed for independent virtual learning online.
Assessment methods
When the implementation type of the course is CONTACT, ONLINE or BLENDED it is required that the student is present during those teaching hours that are marked in the study schedule. If you are absent more than 25 %, your grade will be lowered by one. If you are absent more than 50 %, the course is failed.
The course is graded Pass or Fail.
The course consists of various small tasks and demonstrations, that ensure competence. The assessment of the assignments gives a description of the level of competence. Passed completion of all assignments is required for successful completion.
