    During the course the student develops their professional competences in accordance with the objectives of their personal study plan. The specific learning objectives are agreed on an individual basis for each course implementation by the student or student group and the teacher of the course.

    Teaching methods and instruction

    Project based course. The project is about planning and organizing Duuniin.net 2026.
    Duuniin.net is Haaga-Helia's the biggest recruiting event, and will be held at Pasila campus, with over 40 companies and 800+ students participating every year.

    The event organization will take place in small teams based on the student´s background, study program and interest. The course requires the students to work individually with their teams. Regular team meetings with teachers will happen at least twice a month, where questions can be discussed.

    Depending on the team the student chooses students participate in different activities like:
    - planning, organizing, producing and wrapping up the event
    - budgeting
    - contacting companies
    - marketing for students and companies
    - event management
    - professional communication with stakeholders within and outside of Haaga-Helia

    Communicating with and marketing to companies, depending on student's team.

    Content scheduling

    Course starts in August 2025, and ends in February 2026.

    The kick-off meeting is held August 26th 2024 15.00-17.00. Participation on the kick-off meeting is mandatory, as the schedule and small teams for the rest of the course will be decided then.

    The course is about producing Duuniin.net recruitment event, which takes place at Pasila campus on 4th February 2026. Active presence on this event as well as the preparation on the day before (3rd February 2026) is mandatory.

    Monthly meeting dates (mandatory meetings in person at Pasila):
    - 9th September 15-16.30
    - 7th October 15-16.30
    - 4th November 15-16.30
    - 2nd December 15-16.30
    - 13th January 15-16.30
    - 27th January 15- 16.30

    Above these dates, there will be weekly meetings (possibly online/hybrid) with your own team. The exact schedule and dates of these weekly meetings will be agreed with your own team once the course start.
