    The student can outline accommodation businesses in Finland and abroad. The student describes local and global impact of the accommodation industry. She/he can list most important current trends. She/he recognize the main co-operational partners in accommodation business.

    The student can analyse diversity of accommodation businesses in Finland and abroad. The student can identify local and global impact of the accommodation industry. She/he interpret most important current trends. She/he distinguish the main co-operational partners in accommodation business.

    The student can judge the diversity between domestic and international accommodation business. The student can analyse local and global impact of the accommodation industry. She/he judge the most important current trends.

    Teaching methods and instruction

    Distance learning.

    No joint sessions or lectures. Individual assingments and peer evaluations.

    Learning is based on several assignments that will familirize the student to the course learning objectives. Assignments vary from reflection to written report. Guidance will be provided through Moodle Q&A message board thoughout the course.

    List of material will be provided in Moodle. Note that one essential part of the course is to search for validated information sources.
