The module uses real-life cases, simulations game and possible company visitors to lessons.

Examination which will consist of 20 multiple choice questions of which one must get 15 correct in order to pass.
Re-exam will be offered in Haaga-Helia’s electronic re-examination Exam (see MyNet for further details) October 2021 onwards once the course has ended. The exact dates, when re-examination will be available, will be provided by the teacher during the course. Rules and regulations concerning re-examinations according Haaga-Helia’s code of conduct are applied.
English
The course is taught in English, can be attended by international students and all assignments are related to the internationalization efforts of a company. The course is international by definition.

Two larger learning assignments: Assignment 1: “SCM magazine article or presentation” Assignment 2: “SCM process of toy manufacturer Lego portrayed as process” Both the assignments have 40 % weight on student's course grade. Five smaller weekly assignments (weekly assignments 1. & 2. are compulsory ones; from the other 4 ones you must select and complete 3 > choose yourself which one of the weekly assignments 3.-6. not to submit. All these weekly assignments have 4 % weight on student's course grade.

Classes held on 1st period of fall 2021 semester. Tuesday classes' focus and content is lecture / presentation oriented. Thursday classes' emphasis is on various course assignments go-through by teacher, but these sessions also serve as consultation clinics in which students can discuss their work with teacher.

The assignment for self-assessment of learning is completed using an online form before the end of the course. In addition to self-assessment of learning, the assignment doubles as course feedback.

All the individual assignments (larger or weekly ones) are graded in 0-5 (with halves and quarters included). A weighted average is calculated and that determines student's final course grade in Haaga-Helia's 0-5 grade scale.
There is an examination held Monday 7.10. with all the rules described upper in this implementation plan document. It is not an element in the grading, but it must be passed at 15/20 level.
