The course consists of:
- In-class and virtual lectures (in Zoom)
- Individual assignments
- Group assignments
Upon successful completion of the course, students will be able to apply brainstorming techniques, design a digital service visual user interface, and take advantage of tools for prototyping.
Topics also to be covered in the course include the following:
- Iterative design (lo/mid/hi fidelity)
- Graphical User Interface (UI design principles)
- Tools for prototyping (semi-functional prototyping tools)
- Usability evaluations and inspections (including test cases and test plan)
All course materials are available in Moodle. There is no course book in use in this course.
Real life cases and examples will be used throughout the course.

The course is targeted for international students, which provides participants possibilities for intercultural collaboration. Also, international literature, other learning materials, and cases will be used throughout the course.
