    Contents
    Urban Air Mobility for Last Mile Delivery will take a look at the trends and potential developments mainly in the short haul electric flying (e.g. drones) as part of the logistics ecosystem. We approach the themes from strategic, operational, economic, legal and digital point of view.

    The implementation will concentrate on the topics like:

    Introduction to the logistics ecosystem incl. last mile (and first mile) delivery and the concept of UAM
    The challenges concerning last mile (first mile) deliveries and the role of UAM in solving them
    The global market for Urban Air Mobility solutions
    The integration of UAM operations with the logistics ecosystem (hub-structure, challenges and possibilities, digital supply chain, etc.)
    The strategic choices of companies in relation to last mile (first mile) deliveries (in-house vs. outsource, part of retail entity vs. - transportation companies)
    The Safety of operations (incl. regulatory progress)
    The possibilities for the future
    The affects to the sustainable future of aviation (environmental, social, economic)
    Assessment criteria
    Assessment criteria - grade 1
    The student is aware about the topics of the implementation. The student is able to discuss/write about the presented topics. When applicable, the student participates the course assignments.
    Assessment criteria - grade 3
    The student understands of the topics of the implementation. The student is able to analyze and take part to the discussions or write about the presented topics. The student takes an active part in the contribution to the course assignments.
    Assessment criteria - grade 5
    The student indicates a deep and analytical approach to the topics of the studymodule. The student is able to analyze professionally in writing and/or lead the discussions about the presented topics. The course assignments follow an academical format and consist of justifications of made choices.

If you are absent more than 25%, your grade will be lowered by one. If you are absent more than 50%, the course is failed.
