Contents
Sports services include the development, productification and commercialization of customer-based sports services and sports travel in the private, municipal and third sector. Themes (key contents) included are:
*customer-based services
*legislation
*ecology, productization
*product development
Implementation methods, Demonstration and Work&Study
The learning objectives of this course will be acquired mainly by applying the theoretical knowledge acquired during the course to work-related projects or other projects. Other ways of learning will be speciafied later. They may include contact teaching and /or distance learning. There may be various learning assignments, exams, essays etc.
Recognition of prior learning (RPL) as per Haaga-Helia UAS instructions.

Assessment criteria
Assessment criteria - grade 1
The student is able to under guidance plan and put into practice customer-based sports services for different target groups.
The student is able to under guidance plan and put into practice a customer-based process of product development or a sports event.
The student is able to under guidance consider the possibilities provided by different environments in planning, putting into practice and developing sports products and events.
Assessment criteria - grade 3
The student is able to plan and put into practice customer- based sports services for different target groups.
The student is able to plan and put into practice a customer- based process of product development or a sports event.
The student is able to consider the possibilities provided by different environments in planning, putting into practice and developing sports products and events.
Assessment criteria - grade 5
The student has the courage to deviate from the mainstream, with an aim of
developing services, a sport product or a sport event from a novel perspective.
Assessment criteria, approved/failed
The student is able to take into account the current legislation in planning and putting into practice sports services. (pass – fail)
The student is able to plan and put into practice sport services in an ecologically sustainable manner. (pass - fail)
