Upon successful completion of this course, the student should be able to

Topics to be covered in the course include the following:
- Mobile development characteristics
- Android platform basics
- Selected mobile development technologies
- Usage of mobile device functionalities

- Teaching 48 h

- The assessment of one’s own learning 1 h
- Studying includes lectures, exercises and mobile project

Accreditation of prior learning (APL) is observed on the course according to separate instructions that you can get from course teacher..

Course material in the moodle

Do you want to learn develop modern mobile apps using the latest top technologies? During the course, each student will implement their own mobile app that works both in Android and iOS platforms. You will also learn how to utilize mobile device functionalities that you need in common apps.

When the implementation type of the course is contact, online or blended it is required that the student is present during those teaching hours that are marked in the study schedule. If you are absent more than 25%, your grade will be lowered by one. If you are absent more than 50%, the course is failed.

The course prerequisite is that you have passed the course Programming 2 (SOF001AS3AE), or can demonstrate equivalent skills and knowledge prior commencing the course.
