After completing this course a student will be able to

* define objectives for the development project
* extract requirements from the interest groups
* analyze and clarify requirements
* support interest groups in the prioritization of requirements
* model requirements with UML (Use Cases, Class Diagram)

* stages, tasks and methods in software requirements analysis
* requirements elicitation
* requirements analysis, clarification and prioritization
* requirements modeling with UML notation

Assessment
* Weekly hands-on assignments, a comprehensive case project assignment in teams, activity and an exam.

If you already have achieved the required learning objectives of the course, you can show your competence with a portfolio and a demonstration exam. Software used in modeling / specification

Software development is always based on client / user requirements. In this course you will learn to elicit business and user requirements, analyze, clarify and prioritize requirements, specify requirements using UML and UI pictures and prototypes.

The course has no formal prerequisites but students who have a grade on the following courses are in the best position to get the full gain of this course
