Teaching methods and instruction

The course of Sustainable SCM is implemented via zoom sessions and contact sessions in a classroom. Online tasks (both individual and team assignments) and team presentations in a classroom.

Learning material and recommended literature

Study material (academic articles, selected websites, teachers´ materials, webinars and videos in Moodle. Famous authors of Green supply chain management (Mc Kinnon, Emmet and Sood) and Circular Economy (Ellen McArthur).

Note ! This course will start on January 24th at 9.00 via Zoom. Further information is found in Moodle. Moodle sites are to be updated at the moment.

The course of Sustainable SCM is via zoom sessions. Online tasks (both individual and team assignments). Students hopefully can participate in the PACTEC Fair in March (on your own time, the Covid 19 passport is in use) and do one assignment of packaging from the fair. More details TBAL.

You promote environmentally friendly resources and energy saving processes by reusing, reducing and recycling. You know how to reduce greenhouse gas emissions, carbon footprint and waste in operations within the global supply chain. You aim at minimizing environmental pollution and you know alternative and renewable energy sources. You consider how to reduce the environmental impact of warehousing, packaging and transportation. You understand the structure of the environmental management system. You master environmental laws and regulations. You are able to restructure the supply chain to be more sustainable.
