After the work placement, students are able to

• identify and evaluate their own professional strengths and areas for development from the perspective of practical tasks at work
• act according to the rules of the work community
• evaluate the activities of the organisation and make specifically justified development proposals
• develop and update skills required at work as well as study and career plans

Work placement can be completed in a suitable Finnish or international company, public entity or other suitable organisation, such as various associations or non-profit organisations. The student can also work as an entrepreneur in his/her own company. Work placement can also be completed abroad.

Work placement instructions and return of documents as required by the degree.

Work placement is a great opportunity to get to know your area of interest and try different work assignments. Work placement gives you the opportunity to approach your job with an analytical, exploratory and developmental approach. Work placement can often even open the doors to a permanent job.

The total scope of the work placement is 30 ECTS. Work placement consists of basic and specialisation work placement as defined by the degree. You can complete your work placement according to the instructions of your degree: full-time or part-time, in one or more parts, in one or more jobs. The scope of the basic work placement is determined by your own skills and the requirements of the degree.

No prerequisites

Passed work placement report as required by the degree.
Hyväksytty harjoittelun raportointi tutkinnon edellyttämällä tavalla. The grade is marked H=passed.
