When the implementation type of the course is contact, online or blended it is required that the student is present during those teaching hours that are marked in the study schedule. If you are absent more than 25 %, your grade will be lowered by one. If you are absent more than 50 %, the course is failed.
Starting level and linkage with other courses
To participate in APA courses in the EUDAPA program, you need to have basic knowledge of Adapted Physical Activity. This means you should have completed some basic studies in the fields of physical activity and sports, or health care and social welfare. It is also required to have completed some APA studies (minimum five credits).
If you don't have any APA studies, you can enroll in the Haaga-Helia online course PHY005AS2A "Soveltava liikunta," worth 5 credits.

Assessment criteria
Assessment criteria - grade 1
The student knows the concept of inclusion and the principles of APA in children and youth. The student can plan, implement, and evaluate an evidence-based session with assistance. The student aims to work collaboratively.
Assessment criteria - grade 3
The student can plan, implement, and evaluate evidence-based inclusion actively in practical situations with good knowledge. The interaction of the student motivates and encourages the participants.
The student understands the principles of APA in children and youth and can plan goal-oriented actions taking care of individual needs.
Assessment criteria - grade 5
The student can plan, implement, and evaluate evidence-based inclusion independently in practical situations with excellent knowledge. The students can consider all the participants and their individual needs.
The interaction of the student is appropriate, natural and involves all the participants in the communication process.
The student innovates new ideas and can adapt his/her actions to the needs of the person or organization. She/he critically analyzes and justifies the means, methods, and effectiveness of the training.
