Learners have the option to choose if they want to focus on AWS or Azure learning path to study.
Work load for the course is 135h of studies. 10h is reserved for general activities and 125h is reserved for module specific studies. There are 10 study modules and for each module workload is 12,5 hours of active studies inlcuding book, lecture, study notes, labs and other learning tasks depending on the module.
It is possible to get score between 0 and 100 from this course. These are the learning tasks that contribute to the total score:

Study Involvement (Score 0-10)
Study Notes (Score 0-20)
Laboratories (Score 0-20)
Exam is typically single and multiple choice questions, but might contain essay questions.
This course as a whole is graded according to 50% grading. 50% of maximum result from the Final Evaluaton is required to pass the course.

Score 50-60 = Grade 1 (Learning Opportunity, Opportunity for Improvement)
Score 61-70 = Grade 2 (Satisfactory)

The virtual introductory cloud course covers basic public cloud topics based on AWS (CLF-C02) and Azure (AZ-900) syllabi. In this specific implementation students can choose whether they want to study AWS or Azure materials. All materials and exam are in english language! This implementation is not meant to focus on vendor-specific technologies, but to provide a balanced introduction to general public cloud topics by giving students exposure to both AWS and Azure technologies through labs from both vendors. The virtual implementation has a time frame of 16 weeks, and studies must be concluded within that time.
The virtual course is delivered using mainly the methods outlined below:
- Self-study of the chosen course book
- Hands-on AWS and Azure laboratories from cloud vendor education learning environments
- Other materials from cloud vendor education learning environments
- Peer support on Teams

Possible supportive methods for the virtual course studies may or may not include:

Students will work on the following deliverables during the implementation of this course and can gather a total score ranging from 0 to 100 from the following components:
- Study notes (in finnish or in english): 0-25 points
- Learning environment laboratories: 0-25 points
- Exam in Haaga-Helia Exam system: 0-50 points
