Intro
Welcome to the virtual course exploring contemporary perspectives on KM and KM governance. KM and KM leadership methods are key elements in IT and business management and business development. They are how we understand organisations as entities. Topics include KM leadership and KM teams and how their activities contribute to organisational development. Working independently or in a group, you will study academic and international study materials. The course will explore and reflect on KM & KM Leadership from both IT and management perspectives across organisational boundaries.
Further information
The virtual course. Self-directed online work, independent of time and place, and students will complete this course at their own pace. The virtual course assignments must be returned for assessment according to the course schedule. The virtual completion of the course is facilitated by the interactive work of the students in the discussion areas of the IT platform.
The pedagogy is supported by a wide range of academic literature and articles in the form of extensive assignments aligned with the course theme. Students will complete the various assignments of the course by studying the topics of the course in depth, including reading the e-literature of the course and academic and international articles.
The Extensive Study assignment is a compulsory assignment and will be carried out as an 'examination form' assignment, as a familiarisation assignment. The student must complete assignments 1 to 3 and the extended learning assignment approved for the course in order to be assessed as fully accepted (grades 1 to 5). Please note that some of the assignments will not be opened until the required earlier assignments have been returned to the student for assessment.
