Students knows issues related to alcohol sales and service in restaurants in accordance with valid rules and laws.
Acquires status of responsible manager of alcohol sales in restaurant.
As proof of competence and approved performance, the student receives an official certificate, known as Alcohol Passport.

If you already have the Alcohol passport (anniskelupassi), please show that to the Study Services desk for will mark this to your register, This is important as Haaga-Helia is required to keep records on this.

In this course you will be offered the opportunity to acquire Alcohol Passport. It is compulsory part of the hospitality curriculum and ensures that you can practically apply the laws and other rules related to alcohol service. Employers require Alcohol passport from all employees who work in restaurant service. Haaga-Helia offers hospitality students to complete the Alcohol passport for free of charge as part of their studies.

When the implementation type of the course is CONTACT, ONLINE or BLENDED it is required that the student is present during those teaching hours that are marked in the study schedule. If you are absent more than 25 %, your grade will be lowered by one. If you are absent more than 50 %, the course is failed.
