Welcome to continue studying German! You will deepen your knowledge of what you have learnt in the German 1 course. You will learn how to discuss your own education and work experience and how to handle the most common work life situations. Together with the other students, you will improve your argumentation skills and get to know digital communication in German. You also will develop further cultural and intercultural skills.

When the implementation type of the course is contact, online or blended it is required that the student is present during those teaching hours that are marked in the study schedule. If you are absent more than 25%, your grade will be lowered by one. If you are absent more than 50%, the course is failed.

The student knows how to use the German language in the most common every day and work life situations. He/She has mastered the basics of pronunciation, the most common language basics and partly also the course’s vocabulary. He/She knows some general characteristics of the language area and its everyday life and work culture, and he/she has acquainted him/herself with the diversity of the German-speaking environment.

The student knows how to use the German language quite independently and naturally in the most common every day and work life situations. He/She has mastered the pronunciation, many language basics and how to apply what you learnt to different language situations.
