Upon completion of the module, the student is able to

• understand and illustrate the objectives of a commissioned project
• produce a suitable project plan for the project
• understand the essential parts of a project and project management
• carry a project according to the set timetable and co-operate with the stakeholders involved
• estimate and evaluate the risks of a project

The contents of the module are planned in co-operation with the commissioner case by case.

The learning objectives of the module can be met by:
a. Participating in the project in question or in a similar one.
b. Work and study

Self-evaluation is as mandatory part of the module

Fail
The student has not participated the contact lessons and is not able to independently manage the given tasks. He / she has not participated to the project planning / production and has not shown initiative. The student needs constant assistance in the work. The student has not reflected and evaluated his / her learning and performance.

Pass
The student understands the basics of project work and performs the tasks connected to work with acceptable level. He / she can apply the methods learned to reach the objectives of the project. In addition to this the student knows how to make use of necessary tools and devices in project work. The student can reflect and evaluate His / her learning process as well as performance in the project
