The course consists of:
- Mandatory lectures and in-class exercises
- Individual assignments
- Group assignments
Topics to be covered in the course include the following:
- Iterative design (lo/hi fidelity)
- Graphical User Interface (UI design principles)
- Tools for prototyping (semi-functional prototyping tools)
- Usability evaluations and inspections (including test cases and test plan)
Upon successful completion of this course, the student should be able to apply brainstorming techniques, design a digital service visual user interface, and take advantage of tools for prototyping.
There is no course book in use for this course. Course materials are available in Moodle.
Work-life cases and examples will be used as learning materials.

The course is targeted for international students, which provides participants possibilities for intercultural collaboration. Also, international literature, other learning materials, and cases will be used throughout the course.
