Implementation methods, Demonstration and Work&Study
The pedagogy in the implementation includes
- Inquired based learning by doing research on a real market and airlines, writing a basic report as a preparation for the final thesis and doing peer grading
- Inquired based learning by starting up and developing an airline on a simulation tool
- Peer learning though peer grading, through class and group collaboration towards common goals and peer evaluation of group members at the end
- Learning through team work during most of the course
- The course uses a blended approach with sessions face to face as well as sessions online
If students have acquired the required competence in previous work tasks, recreational activities or on another course, they can show the competence with a demonstration. The demonstration must be agreed with the course teacher. The course is linked to the Master student’s own work experience and organisation insights. The jury on the final presentation will include members of the industry.

Assessment criteria
Assessment criteria - grade 1
The student has been involved in team work, contributed to the group results with sufficient contents for decision making in form of operational environment analyses and forecasting study for the scenarios together with his/her other team members. The student has tried to solve individual assignments.
Assessment criteria - grade 3
The student has been involved actively in team work, contributed to to the group results with good contents for decision making in form of operational environment analyses and forecasting study for the scenarios together with his/her other team members. The student has solved individual assignments with good outcome.
Assessment criteria - grade 5
The student has been involved actively and professionally in team work, contributed to the group results with excellent contents for decision making in form of operational environment analyses and forecasting study for the scenarios together with his/her other team members. The student has solved individual assignments with excellent outcome.
Passed courses are assessed on a scale of 1 to 5. The assessment criteria are presented for grades 1 - 3 - 5.
