Contents
Aviation professionals need to follow continuing education requirements to retain the employment or the privileges of exercising different licenses in their job positions. The continuing education requirements are many times mandated by multiple parties in certain time periods. Aviation professionals also need to ensure their professional career development and competitiveness in the vibrant aviation industry through different self-development opportunities such as courses, events, seminars and other training possibilities.
This course is a recognition of studies that have been done independently as a student or an educator to fulfill the continuing education requirements of the aviation industry, for example:
- participation in training at student's work place
- independent participation or organizing events, workshops, seminars and conferences
- activeness in other supporting studies
Implementation methods, Demonstration and Work&Study
This course is a recognition of studies that have been done independently as a student or an educator to fulfill the continuing education requirements of the aviation industry. The student is responsible for keeping track of each training/event hours and reflecting upon experiences gained. Include in your report the dates and theme/name of the training/ event, the purpose of your participation and the hours spent. Reflect your learning experiences by writing down what you knew about the themes in advance, what were your expectations and three new ideas/innovations on how to develop yourself further. If possible, include also the programme of the event/training in your report. This recognition of learning can include different training possibilities from a 3 years timeline and the reflecting report (including all the training/ events) will be returned only once.
27 h of work equals one study credit. 1 hour is for writing the report.
