- use Excel efficiently in calculations

The student will need to take Mathematics Placement test before taking this course.
This course has to be completed before the key competence course Basics of Financial Management.
This course is part of Haaga-Helia Key Competences.

Assessment criteria, approved/failed

When the implementation type of the course is CONTACT, ONLINE or BLENDED it is required that the student is present during those teaching hours that are marked in the study schedule. If you are absent more than 25 %, your grade will be lowered by one. If you are absent more than 50 %, the course is failed.

Accepted: The student is able to solve a linear equation. The student can solve proportion and basic percentage calculations with Excel. The student utilises percentage calculations to solve word problems.
