Intro

Do you need to warm up your “Swedish muscles”? Welcome to practice core skills of Swedish grammar and vocabulary. We’re thrilled to have you join us on this “gym class” of exploring the Swedish language. This course is designed to give you a comfortable and supportive space to practice, review, and build confidence in the basics of Swedish language. Let’s make the most of this learning experience.

Learning objectives

To develop proficiency in key basic structures and to expand vocabulary
To enhance understanding of spoken language and pronunciation
To provide tools, tips, and inspiration for developing Swedish language skills

Contents

Learning everyday vocabulary
Rehearsal of basic structures: nouns, verbs and adjectives

Implementation methods, demonstration and Work&Study

The course is fully virtual: there are no contact or online lessons.

All the course material (Swedish – English) is available on Moodle.

The course is at skill level A2 according to the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR).

Assessment criteria, approved/failed

When the implementation type of the course is CONTACT, ONLINE or BLENDED it is required that the student is present during those teaching hours that are marked in the study schedule. If you are absent more than 25 %, your grade will be lowered by one. If you are absent more than 50 %, the course is failed. 

Pass/Fail
To obtain a pass mark, the course H5P tasks and Moodle exams must be successfully completed.
