Ulysseus German Intermediate 2 (5cr)

Intro

You are warmly welcome to continue your German studies on the B2 level.
In this course you will learn to search and apply for a job in German as well as you will broaden your vocabulary in your field of business (Business Administration or Tourism and Gastronomy). You will also practise customer interaction and discuss topics related to green transition and circular economy.
Make your German language skills to your trump card in the labor market!

Learning objectives

After completing this course you will be able to
- search and apply for a job (weeks 1 - 2)
- display knowledge in German about your field of business (Business Administration or Tourism and Gastronomy) (weeks 3 - 4)
- interact with customers (sales conversations, exhibitions, correspondence) (weeks 5 - 7)
- discuss topics related to green transition and circular economy (weeks 8 - 9).

In this course we are working towards level B2 in German. Before starting this course you should have achieved B1 level in German.

Assessment criteria, approved/failed

The course is assessed based on the following criteria. Min. requirement is 50 % in each to pass:
- Bewerbungsvideo
- Einkaufsgespräch (Partnerarbeit)
- Produktvorstellungsvideo
- obligatorische Moodle-Aufgaben (quizzes) (mindestens 50 % der Punkte je Aufgabe)
- schriftliche Klausur.

H5P exercises are additional optional tasks but highly recommended in order to gain additional knowledge, skills and insights from this course.
