Starting level and linkage with other courses

The student must be ready for self-directed planning of the work and independent information seeking by using discussion forums, among others. No programming experience is required but the student must possess a trial-and-error approach for solving the hands-on exercises of automation.

Implementation methods, demonstration and Work&Study

The course is virtual and it's based on individual assignments and self-directed proceeding within a flexible time frame. However, depending on the implementation it may contain visitor lectures that may not be recorded.

Recognition of prior learning (RPL)
If students have acquired the required competence in previous work tasks, recreational activities or on another certified course, they can show their competence via a demonstration. The demonstration must be agreed with the course teacher. More information and instructions for recognising and validating prior learning (RPL) are available at https://www.haaga-helia.fi/en/recognition-learning Look at "Instructions to students (master)"

Assessment criteria - grade 1
